This project was an early design and 3D rendering effort by Jay Guthrie while at his former architecture firm. The project was located on a cliff on the coast of Chile, and presented several design challenges regarding parking levels and access. Several project renderings were submitted for an AIA Unbuilt Design award, and the project won in that category in 2000. This is a newly created short animation, as still images were the primary focus at that time.

The model was constructed in AutoCAD, rendered in 3DS MAX, and the final design and graphics were completed in roughly 2 months including trips and design time.
